If you accept Dankort at your shop, you will avoid handling large amounts of cash. You will gain access to 3.5 million Dankort and Visa/Dankort cardholders.

Easy and convenient
Payment cards can be accepted for physical or Internet purchases, for mail and telephone orders and in self-service machines with or without PIN. Card payments are quicker and easier for you and your customers, both at the time of transaction and for subsequent administration.

Remember

Cardholder surcharging on cards issued in Denmark is not permitted on POS transactions. In the event you opt to surcharge for other transactions, information must be posted visibly so the cardholder can make a qualified decision prior to completing the transaction. The surcharge amount may not exceed the merchant service charge paid to the acquirer.

It is illegal to round off amounts when your customers pay with Dankort.
