Facts and benefits

Fundamental structure
There are three stakeholders in the system: sender, PBS and you as the information recipient.

Sender
The sender forwards amounts and information using a structure determined by PBS. An agreement is set up between the sender and the sender's bank that will allow amounts and information to be forwarded. Apart from the mandatory fields, the content of a delivery can be customised to fit your needs and in accordance with the agreement between the sender and you as the recipient. The only restriction are the options available in the sender's salary system.

PBS

PBS forwards amounts and information at the sender's risk. We perform validation of the delivery contents on a number of important fields and simply forward the variable fields without any validation. We support both the sender and the recipient with the operation of the system.

Information recipient
As an information recipient, you are connected to the system and will then - given the correct technical prerequisites -immediately be  able to receive amounts and information electronically.

How to become an information recipient
The agreement for information recipients contains the necessary information to enable you to be set up on the system and thus allocated a PBS number. This is the identification in connection with amounts and information from senders.

You provide details of the information senders and how you would like the information and associated amounts to be set up.
