Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode have been introduced as a security standard by the two international card organisations working together. Therefore, payments are made in the same way irrespective of whether you use your Visa card or MasterCard card.

The number of Internet merchants which have introduced the new security standard is growing all the time the world over. If you frequently shop at foreign Internet merchants, you will often be prompted to use one of these two secure methods of payment.
